My primary vacuum was that Eureka Altima. It looks essentially just like this same price ect. I acquired that vacuum with November 2006. It did a superb job for 3 upright years. It journeyed from our house to now some of our town house. But it surely started to take action funny... it would shut down unexpectedly or not switch off. Something electrical and probably might have been fixed. But I convinced my hubby it was time for you to retire our aged vacuum. I possess a 2. 5 year aged a 4 month old and then a chow-chow. Also this happens because I have your dog and the locks gets around it therefore loses suction. 2) this doesnt have a uncovered floor setting... but all over again its ok beside me. I tend to help sweep my kitchen then use a hose to suck in the dirt. Our bedrooms are generally hardwood and I do much like in kitchen. For those who have previously owned a Eureka I might encourage you to obtain this one. As i purchased this pressure in May with 2010. I had imagined a Bissel manufactured for animal dander but dont want to bide time until it to can come in-store. I will need to have waited. The first couple of months this vacuum has been awesome--on carpet. It can be absolutely useless with hardwoods. It blows almost everything around and My organization is fairly certain it was eventually not designed with regard to smooth surfaces in any respect. This was an issue I actually assumed it can do given it was eventually 2010 when As i purchased it. Dealing pick up a good amount of locks which seems alternatively impressive but the suction power is not really all that terrific. It does a whole lot of blowing around just as soon as the vacuum is shut down it leaves some sort of pile of no matter what dirt and waste it last picked up correct where it shut down. The hose addition is pretty useless as there isnt a whole number of suction and that brush attachment halted working properly when 5 uses. My organization is saving for some sort of Dyson.

I have purchased this model right after I returned the one my wife bought from Walmart, this is the first time I order vacuum through mail order. I like this function for cleaning dust suction, the Vacuum power and light weight is great too. And I have used bagless Vacuum over 10 years. this design is easy clean up, and the cup size is good enough for whole 4 room cleaning.the disvantage portions are: the power cord should get 6 feet longer, and the way the wrap the wire is not ergonomics, you need to bend your knee to wrap it up (the height of wrapper is low), the tube extesion is not long enough to reach the roof. If there is one more feature like the broken one I have the cleaning condition sensor light), that would be great too.Anyway, for price $80 range, it's not a bad deal, please aware of, you need to install this Vacuum over 30 min.

This vacuum does not work if you have low carpet like I have. It hasn't worked from day one (yes, I have the vacuum set on "low carpet"). It just blows the debris out the back of the vacuum. It balls up dust and spits that out as well. I thought I sucked something up that caused a clog and just put it aside until my husband could look at it. He cleaned the vacuum out completely and there was an average dust ball in the tube but that was it. It didn't help at all. The vacuum works fine on a shag area rug I have in my living room so I guess it's just my bedroom carpet. I've gone back to using my 5 year old Hoover that works 100 times better than this vacuum. If you have low carpet do not bother with this vacuum at all.
